ANNUAL SPRING TRASH/RUBBISH PICK UP
The DPW and Parks Department work to pickup trash that is placed at the street. All trash must be in containers weighing less than 60 pounds. Pickup will be limited to 10 yards per residence. Please separate your brush from your rubbish.

| The 1992 Federal Clean Air Act prohibits the disposal of any appliances containing CFC's (Refrigerators, Freezers, Air Conditioners, etc.) will not be picked up. | |

YARD WASTE BAGS.
Yard Waste bags are available at City Hall for a cost of $2.00 per package of 10 bags. These bags can be used for lawn clippings, leafs, garden clippings, small twigs or branches no larger than 1 inch in diameter (cut up to fit into bags). Place bags by the road and they will be picked up on Tuesdays, have bags out before 7:00 a.m. A dumpster is available for yard waste bags at the City Garage for anyone who wants to drop them off. This program runs from April through the fall.
BRUSH PICKUP
This programs begins in April and runs through the fall. There is no charge for the first 15 minutes. After the first 15 minutes the owner will be billed $25.00 for each additional 15 minutes. Brush pickup is on Fridays and you must call the City Garage at 723-7132 to placed on the list for pickup.
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION
In conjunction with the Spring Trash/Rubbish Pickup the City also has a Household Hazardous Waste Collection program. Items can be dropped off at the City Garage and must be in the original containers with the label attached.
